Long time no see, darling!

I decided to start updating my blog as a contribution to the fashion I like, so may be more people might become more interested in this pretty style

Starting my first publication, I decided to dedicate it to the marvelous event I had a chance to visit - Hellocon’s Eternal Twilight festival. Being held in Helsinki and having Mana-sama himself as a special guest, this event was a must to visit!

When planning my outfit couple of months before the event itself, I was considering to dress in a simple classic coord (as due to high work load I couldn’t afford traveling longer than just one weekend). But thankfully one of my favorite brands Lady Sloth releases theirs gorgeous flocks Bat Rhapsody series and once I got the JSK in my hands, I knew I will build the entire look based on the Bats theme!

As per my current closet strategy (I will
Post it in a couple of weeks), I didn’t want to buy pieces that i wouldn’t be able to wear more than once, hence I made a decision to craft all accessories instead of buying headpieces or bag or shoes to match the batgirl vibe.

In the end, outfit rundown is:
JSK: Lady sloth
Overdress: Diamond Honey
Shoes: Emily Temple Cute
Hat, gloves, bag decoration, socks: handmade
Bag: Taobao

The venue itself was really really pretty. For me it was the very first time to travel abroad for a fashion event like that and I was so amaZed by spectacular coordinates everyone served! The kiosks with all the different brands were very extensive and I do regret not buying a super cute Yukine Box dress from a lovely seller!

Despite me being fascinated by the Moi-meme-Moitie fashion show, I have to admit I liked the indie brand show slightly better! Such a wide variety of designs, great music and beautifully styled models made this experience really memorable.

What also made the event special to me, I was able to meet all the amazingly stylish ladies I am a long time follower of. Seeing your fashion icons in reality is a really special feeling, I have to admit!

I also really liked Helsinki as no one really paid attention to me being all dressed up, so I felt very comfortable traveling using public transport.

Due to time constraints, I wasn’t able to attend the tea party which I regret a lot, so absolutely, one of my next year resolutions would be to attend a tea party on an abroad event!
